hahahaaaa.... "time is fleeting..."

I could never figure out why the artist titled it "American Gothic," since neither one of them is wearing a cape or black eyeliner. The pitchfork almost counts as a cane, I guess. And they're not smiling, so I suppose they're kinda goth.
